Kelly Oubre ejected after charging Kelly Olynyk
Kelly Oubre Jr. was ejected from Thursday’s playoff game in the second quarter.
The Wizards forward took exception to a screen set by Celtics center Kelly Olynyk, who was called for an offensive foul after his moving screen knocked Oubre to the floor at Verizon Center. Oubre quickly got up and charged Olynyk, shoving his way through an official to push Olynyk off his feet.
Oubre was called for a flagrant 2 and ejected with 9:11 remaining in the first half for escalating the incident.
It’s been a physical series and Oubre’s ejection came minutes after Washington’s Ian Mahinmi and and Boston’s Jonas Jerebko nearly went at it after the players got tangled up under the rim. Both players received technical fouls.
The Wizards, who trail the series two games to none, held a 45-25 lead at the time of Oubre’s ejection.

Peak is a 6-5 wing with long arms that already defends and has potential to knock down shots in the future. These types of players are valuable, and it wouldn’t be a total shock to see him get a two-way deal from a team this offseason. Plus, he’s definitely in the draft after signing with an agent. Currently an alternate, it’s possible he’ll end up in attendance. For now, he’ll be sitting Cheap Chelsea Jerseys at Cheap Authentic Hockey Jerseys home along with guys like Antonio Blakeney, Amile Jefferson, Trevon Bluiett and Deng Adel.
